I bought a '02 R1150RT with this seat on it.
Stock Pan - I think -  but the cover doesn't look like BMW.
It's going up for sale because I bought another. It would be good to tell potential buyers who made it.
The backrest is going up too but I know what it is.

Looks like a Rick Mayer to me. You are smart to sell it too.  I had one on my SV and it was only a few miles better than the stock which was a pos for more than 80 miles.

Hmmph.  I had a Rick Meyer seat on my WeeStrom that was all-day comfortable.

I was thinking it was one of the Mayer's but not sure.
It's too soft for me. I have always ended up with Corbins. Hard as rocks but a big dish for me to change positions.
I hope I can get enough money to buy a used Darien or used good used GPS or even pay for the used Corbin bought from another internet bottom feeder. Anybody venture a guess as to what I should ask for it? I saw the backrest for 300.00 new so I'm thinking 150.00 for it separate from the seat.

It's too soft because all of those seats are custom made, and that one wasn't made for you. If you want an aftermarket seat, consider sending it back to Mayer and have a phone conversation with him about how to modify it so that it will work for you (call first, then ship I guess).

Just a thought.

Well I guess the new owner will have to send it Mayer. A fellow member likes it and bought it already.
I didn't put it here with the intentions of selling it here but I wasn't going to refuse him.  Bigsmile
As I said - it is a very nice seat. Corbins are heavy, ugly to some and don't fit very well but they have always worked for me.
Thanks folks for helping identify the seat.
