Major props to Motolectric

My Multistrada has been having a harder and harder time starting in the cold. At first, I thought that the gel battery I bought in January just wasn't cutting the mustard, but after doing some reading, I decided to upgrade the cables with the MotoElectric cables. They are MUCH larger than the stock cables. The kit comes with Battery to Starter solenoid, solenoid to starter and ground cables. The lugs for the battery are tall enough to install over the old cables (ie 2 grounds not one and 2 cables to the solenoid). There is also a tube of dielectric grease, a rubber hood for the starter cable lug and assorted zipties.
It took me about 45 minutes to install, mostly trying to route the cables neatly and tapping the lugs on the gel battery to take a larger bolt.
This morning has been the coldest so far this fall. With nothing else changed (aside from tightening everything down last night), the bike fired up in a fraction of a second. It hasn't started like that for years.
The cables are very well built and the lengths are model specific. They're expensive, but they do appear to work as advertised.

Actually, this is the company I used (out of California)
MotoLectric
I'm going to keep track, but it also appears that the fuel injection is smoother at low RPMs too.
