Cycle Pro in Orlando FL has reported dyno numbers of 190+ hp SAE to the rear wheel. That's 20 more than the Gen2 Busa makes average - damn you Kawi!  Lol

http://www.facebook.com/pages/CYCLE-PRO/141830563920?sk=wall

Apparently Kawi brought the bike to them before the dealer show to get some numbers. Torque was 110+ Lbs, and apparently also did not take it to the limiter, that was just up to 10k RPM

So with some bolt on mods, we're looking at 200 RWHP easy.

That's important, because I need at least 200 horses.

It's not about "need", it's about want.

Don't get me wrong, the one and only reason I would replace my Sprint with another bike is for the smooth power of a K1300S / Busa / ZX14.

I love the idea of more power.  The numbers are just getting a bit insane, particularly if they are keeping the speed limited to that 186 number.

That can overridden easily with ECU edits. Although I've never hit 186 myself, so no need for me. 186 is fast enough.

Kawi wanted to "regain the crown". The ZX-11 held it for what, 8 years?

Does the buying public care about these bikes (ZX14, Busa) anymore?

It seems that their time has passed by and the interest is with superbikes.

I suppose for those of you who are flexible/nimble enough to ride them they would make great sport tourers.

I had the gen1 zx14 and that bike was silly fast. It wasn't putting out those numbers, the new one must be ludicrous.
