Heading to Bradenton over Christmas holidays and can't find a place to rent anything except maybe a Harley.

Can anyone steer me to a place that will rent sportier bikes near Bradenton? Any of you want to rent me your bike? Or have 2 and want to head out for a ride?  let me know.  By December I'l be jonesing for a ride pretty badly....Smile

Thanks,

Couple of years ago my son and I did the same thing in Dec....went to ST Pete Beach area for. Few days and rented bikes for one of the days.....ALL we could find was HD bikes.  know what? They worked out just fine for that area.  took them inland to Sebring area, put a little over 300 miles on them that day, and lots of fun.  We got a heritage classic and a road king I think.  roads down there are only SLIGHTlY curvey at best, so wind protection and comfort were most important.  we used eagle rider rental at the HD dealer in Clearwater if I remember correctly.  Most I portent thing was being able to go riding in the winter with my son and my brother for a day....not the type of bike we were on.

I hear ya - I'll take whatever I can get, just prefer to try out something new.  If I could find an XR1200 or a V-Rod with mid-controls, I'd be happy.  Had a Hayabusa outside Miami, and even without the curves, it was WELL WORTH it.  What an engine...
