Ninja 1000 Upper Fairing Stress Crack

Hello All,

So I was waxing the Ninja this evening and I found a stress crack in the upper fairing by the right hand mirror base.



Needless to say, I'm not happy. The bike has about 2300 miles on it, never dropped, etc. etc. Has anyone else seen this yet on the N1K?

Mine is fine so far. Yours must have had the guy that installs the countershaft sprockets tighten the mirror.

This is why they created warranties...

Oh yeah, warranty for sure. Just disappointed to see this so soon. Better now than outside the warranty, though.

9K+ and so far no cracks....Better find some wood to knock on.

9k + here as well and no cracks. Let's hope this is an isolated incident.
