I already had iMapMyRide (cycling app) on my phone so I've used it a couple times to map my rides and it works fine, but it's not really intended for that use.  Hit "start workout" when I leave and it tracks my "workout"...haha.

Are there motorcycle specific apps that do something similar?  I've searched but not seeing anything off-hand.

Any other motorcycle related apps worth checking out?

Thanks!

For Android devices, there is "Ride Logger" for motorcycle and "Drive Logger" for cars. I have the paid version of Drive Logger and it has some cool features. It's not much to look at though. It doesn't have a very pretty interface.

I have an iPhone 4, but have used these same apps since I had the 3GS.  The one I use to map where I've been is called MotionX-GPS.  More info can be found by going to their site - http://www.motionx.com.  When you open the App, you first select Tracks, then hit New Track at the top.  On the following screen, choose Mode and select Drive.  Hit Start Track below this button and, when you're done with your ride, hit pause track, then save track.

Yup. I've used it for the bike, and for hiking.

I also have and keep meaning to use Tripcast, by Jeep. However, I just never remember to get it started.

"Victory Rides", by Victory Motorcycles maps your rides, gives the weather map, locates gas stations, food, lodging and of course Victory dealers!  It's free and works great!

Awesome - downloaded - thanks!  The one from Triumph (Triumph Configurator) can locate dealers and build Triumphs, but none of the trip stuff like that.

Been using MotionX for a long time. Many features, constant free updates, and the ability to use it like a SPOT device to send location updates to your SO when you're out solo to give them a little piece of mind.

Hey... thanks for the tip! The SO rides with me, but I didn't know it could do the SPOT type stuff.

(As long as you have coverage, which is less so out here, but ...)
