Scorpion EXO-400 top vent 3-way switch operation?

The top vent of my EXO-400 has a 3-way switch, but due to the
deep and narrow opening, I cannot determine whether it's open,
partially open, or closed. It's currently in the middle position.
If you hold the front of helmet to you, which position is what? I've
googled my ass off trying to get non-existent instructions. Grrr.

I have an EXO-700 but the vents are different.
Full Right is open
Full left is closed.
According to this guy at 3:38 - 3:49

Edit: he says those directions are when you are wearing it.
