"cool" vid...but did these guys think of what that thing would do if it hit someone on the way down? I saw a small GA airport in the final shots, as a GA pilot I cannot imagine flying along and having that thing go through my windshield, or even worse knocking out a stabilizer.

So +1 for cool points, -1000 for idiocy and lack of thought for others.

Lighten up Francis.

Sorry man...and I get it if you are not a pilot, but most "small planes" are not what people think they are....and having that thing come through the windshield is a crappy day for someone.

That is all I am saying...people today do things for "fun" and a "thrill" but do not always think of the consequences.

Thanks for posting that was cool!

As a thought what safety features do weather ballons have that go up and fall from the sky? Who knows how many of them are up there and when are they going to fall?  Headscratch

I'm not a pilot and I had the same thought.  Thumbsup  I was thinking in terms of what if it got sucked in by a jet on the way up, but a conked out engine on a multi-engined plane is far less serious than a smashed windshield or even a broken elevator. The likelihood is fairly small, but if these types of stunts get popular, it will not be so small anymore.
