Anyone know of a good forum or message board for early 80's GPZ's?  I'm looking at a '82 Kawasaki GPZ550.  I've always liked the looks and from what I hear they are pretty bullet proof and fun to ride.  I'm looking for some online resources from people who have/had one of these ole girls.

You've been to this site, already right? I read on there quite a bit as I had found one somewhat locally a few years ago, but it sold for more than I could afford so unfortunately I wasn't able to buy it.

Yep,  I found it yesterday and have been lurking around.  Seems to have a lot of info.  Wish they would update the site though, it's a lil dated but lots of info. available.  Beggers can't be choosers.

Also check out kzrider.com.  Their forums are full of info, and has a lot of recent activity.

Yep, that's true, they've got a lot of info on their site. I used to frequent kzrider.com alot when I had my '75 KZ400.

I'll post here if I find anything else.  Haven't so far but I bookmarked the KZrider link.  I'll check it out tomorrow.  Thanks for the help.

Years ago, before I bought my Ninja 250, I looked at a GPZ550. I was very interested in it as an upgrade from my KZ400. Unfortunately he sold it for more than I could afford at the time, so I bought the Ninja 250 instead. I was wondering how well new or used parts are available nowadays. I buy quite a few of my used parts from eBay and usually buy the new parts from the different online vendors.
