We had a nice sunny day here today and I decided to take the afternoon off to do what will probably be my last ride of the year.  Not a long ride (262 kms) by any means but the roads I did were mostly deserted and nice.

Just over a week ago we got some snow and there is still a little bit in some spots where the sun doesn't shine.  This one was taken just inside Fundy National Park.

Perhaps I should post the next two in the Beaver vs Polar Bear thread.  Both pictures were taken inside Fundy National Park.

Bike and Beaver house.

One more picture from inside Fundy National Park.

The next ones were taken on the way to Cap Enragé.

Hello bike way up there.  Gives you an idea of the tides and how high they get in the Bay of Fundy.

This is coming down from Cap Enragé.

The famous Hopewell Rocks or Flower Pots as some people call them.  I got there when the sun was getting down.  This time of the year there are no tourists.

The first shot is the one that you see all the time.

That's it for now.

The bike is going under the blankets for the winter this weekend.

Shhhhhh!   Don't tell them.   Lol

Actually, the BMW experiment could end when the warranty runs out at the end of next season.  A new Honda after that is a distinct possibility.

Thanks for posting Leon.  Thumbsup
Last winter the group I ride with planned our BIG ride up your way, but the crappy pavement and sketchy weather had us heading south. (the Carolina's)
Hopefully we'll get to shake hands next year at ESTN or the National.  Beerchug

Not that I had a lot of problems but I just have more trust in Honda products.  Having said that, I enjoy riding the K1300GT better than I did the ST1300 which by the way is still running strong at over 130K kms.  The one nagging issue with the K bike is with the fuel mapping.  I had it reprogrammed which fixed it for a while but the problem came back.  Will have to get it reprogrammed next year.

Inlove Leon, you make me jealous, great pics.

Nice to hear from you Mike.  Can you believe that its been 6 years since we met?

Great pics, thanks for sharing. Thumbsup Thumbsup

Thanks for the compliment.  I just noticed that you have an FJR.  What happened to the Suzuki?

Ooo la la!  Just lovely, thanks.

Thanks you for the post.   Maybe we'll see you again in Arkansas again next year.  If we do, I'll try not to steal you room this time.   Lol

Thanks for the compliment.  I just noticed that you have an FJR.  What happened to the Suzuki?

It didn't turn out to be a good enough long distance bike to suit me.  The FJR is a bit bigger than I was wanting but I have to admit, I really like it, and it's better suited to the kind of riding I do here in the flat lands.

Interesting comment about owning the BMW out of warranty.  You're not the first person I've heard say that.

Thanks again for the great pictures and hope we get to meet up again sometime.  Right now I'm planning on the National next year.

Last time we rode together, which was too long ago ... yes I thought you really like the BMW...

It sure is! I headed west a bit north of you through WVa and Kentucky on my way down.  I think it was  The Little Shepard Trail and The Kingdom Come Parkway. Great names and fun roads. In the spring I will head to eastern Tenn. before riding north.
