A moment of silence for those lost in the wars.

I lost one uncle in WWII; here's another, returning in 1945 after time in a POW camp:

Armistice Day.  My grandpa was in the trenches in WWI.  My uncle George was a navigator in a B-24; he was shot down and killed in a raid on Munster on November 5, 1943.  Dad was in the army from Jan. '42 to 1946.  Lots of other family and friends to remember today.

Thanks to all veterans on Remembrance Day.

My grandfather served in the British Army in WW2 fighting in India and Burma.

My father died young from the effects of a bullet to the head wound in training on the Isle of Wight.  This day is always deeply reflective for me. Honour all the dead. War is ... war.

Found this a few weeks ago and thought I would share.  Quite moving ...

Definitely thinking of everybody who served & especially those that didn't come back - and their families.

Thanks for the video, Bubba Z.
