Well not really shameless.  I have nothing to do with this company but their product and especially their customer service have impressed the hell out of me.

I bought a pair of Wiley X sunglasses in New York when I was on a ride their this summer.  I proceeded to break an ear piece and this was completely my fault.  I emailed them and they sent me a set of arms for the ears (?) but due to the damage I couldn't fix the broken one.  I let them know and I paid nine bucks to ship it to them and they also could not fix them so they sent me a brand new pair.

These glasses are made for riding and have a foam piece you can insert which is designed to keep dust and debris out which work very well.  I happened to have an eye appt the other day and even my doctor said these were some excellent glasses.

wileyx.com for those interested.

I hate it when I get Debi's in my eyes. All I can see are DIsney teenybopper shows.  Lol

When I got my last pair of Rx glasses at Pearle, I looked at a pair of WileyX sunglasses the they had.  With the perscription lenses they would have been like $250 or something.   Crazy  Maybe that's the going price.. not sure.

I did, however, like they way they fit and how they looked on me.  I had never heard of the brand before and thought they were way too expensive for what they were.  At least when I spend that kinda $$ on regular glasses I'm getting titanium frames or similar.  For something that probably cost them $5 I just can't bring myself to spend the $$.

It's good to hear the company backs up their product and I may reconsider them because of that.

Thanks for the info.

I'm pretty sure Wiley's had a government contract to supply the military with their glasses. Good shades from what I've heard. Pricey though.

I was issued some Wiley X glasses for deployment.  Good glasses, worked well.  Don't know about the customer service, but have no problem with the glasses.

FWIW, my choices also included Oakley, ESS, and Revision, I have at least one pair from all of them, and they all work.  But if you like Wiley X styles, they are good quality.
