Here on STN itself is the final say on chain lubes
http://www.sport-touring.net/forums/index.php/topic,61009.0.html
BTW, the favored one is only carried by Lowes (the Home Depot runner-up) in my area,
but it is less expensive than going to a bike store.

They also carry this at any Walmart that has a motorcycle/atv section - just search your local stores online. It is also cheaper there.

The local WallyMart  doesn't carry much that's good. They did have 2 cans of the DuPont motorcycle degreaser on the clearance shelf and I bought them both.

I started using the bulk liquid after noticing how quickly I was going through the aerosol.

Yeah, I pulled up the stock from all the local Walmarts to verify they had them, then went and grabbed a few cans to stock up. it can be hit or miss without checking online first.

I know the Dupont Multi Wax doesn't look like much on the chain but it really works. You have to put it on a warm chain AFTER a ride then let it sit overnite. Also put on plenty. Your chain will last a long time and will not stretch. Also the stuff really does not pick up dirt which is great on an ADV bike too.
