Nice rare bird - but worth the asking cost of $20k?  Maybe for a collector.  There are Guzzi Sport 1100's and Daytona's available for much less.

IMO they got nothin' on a Ghezzi Brian bike.

I once saw one up close in Carpinteria, CA (pure luck, we had stopped on a ride for lunch) and the thing was stunning in every way.
Comparing a Sport or Daytona to a GB is like comparing a hot chick to a stunning chick...

I think I know where both of you guys are coming from.  The attention to detail, every part thought out for performance, function and appearance, is "stunning" on that type of show bike.  But for me, namely my motorcycle use and bank account, it's art to be appreciated and admired, but my bikes have to be daily riders.

If I had a GB, I'd be so afraid of f'ing it up, I'd practically never ride it!  Some of the Guzzis Rince is referring to are "hot" and can be ridden regularly and will definitely put a smile on your face.

My 1200 Sport has Braking rotors, but Brembo calipers.  They are quite amazing to me!   Bigsmile

Very nice bikes to be sure, but close-up you can tell they are low volume units and the ones I've seen suffered from some fit/finish issues.  They certainly are great eye-candy though, but really not for me from a comfort and practicality perspective.  I'm not a track weapon or race-repli kinda guy.

And the technology... brakes, engine, suspension.... while all very cool 10+ years ago, is now a bit dated.

They are "relatively rare" (literally, as compared to factory MGs) but I used to see them fairly frequently back in California, esp at bike hangouts (translate:  "places to be seen"   Rolleyes  ) and Euro-bike meets.  So they aren't unobtanium.

So I think the $20k asking price is a bit high, but it's worth what someone is willing to pay and there may be some MG collectors/aficionados that may disagree with me  Bigsmile   I think somewhere in the low teens is reasonable from scarcity/uniqueness perspective.

But it's already up to $13k... so we'll see.
