Sucks.  They're saying a comeback in 2014?  I guess Suzuki is banking on the racing being cheaper and much less 'prototype' by that point.

On the other hand...Biaggi, Cheka, Hopkins, DePuniet, Melandri, Oayama, et al in WSBK next year.  That'll probably be some good racing.

"Having an eye to returning to MotoGP in 2014, Suzuki will now focus on developing a competitive new racing machine for that class."

Sure, they'll develop a killer 1000cc machine just in time for the next rule change.

you can't deny, or at least I won't, that the rule changes over the past decade must have been very expensive to manage for all the MotoGP teams.

Shit, he would have had it in the bag if it wasn't for his finger.

That was gruesome for a "small" injury. The pics were bad.

Let's all hope he'll put THIS behind him:

I'd have to say that the AMA Daytona Sportbike and Superbike races were much more entertaining than WSBK and MotoGP put together. With one every race came down to 4 or 5 guys dicing for it on the final lap and side by side finishes. The other came down to the final lap of the final race. The big guys just seemed to have one guy run away with it and was a real yawn. I miss the days when you had guys like Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz and Mick Doohan really going at it.
