Any of you Bay area folk have a good insurance option for me?

I used a national agent in based in Florida and they gave me great prices when I lived in NoVA, but when I called them to let them know i was now in CA the revised quote came back at $900/6 mo for the GS?  It was around $200/yr in VA.

Is this yet another California FU thing or do i just need another agent?  They had been totally awesome in the past with a bunch of bikes and various odd needs so this massive rate hike is odd...

Referrals welcome.

Thanks,
-DNA

Mike Hogin at Napa Valley Insurance is my agent.  He represents many carriers.  My policies are through Allied.  Allied/National treeated me very well when I totaled my VFR.  I was very happy with the way I was treated.

I can't say enough good things about my agent Erich Stiegler. Knows his insurance products, great customer service and rides like a bat out of hell.

He's in the Bay Area. Give him a call:    Erich Stiegler  (408) 813-5348
