Yes, and glad to say it.

Neither of us wanted kids.  Being far easier for me than for her, I stepped up, only age 30 at the time.

Doctors interviewed me to be sure I knew what I was signing up for.

Was no biggee, easier than getting a filling.

Had this done last October. Took a long weekend. Doc did a fantastic job, quick recovery no complications.
I would say that it took about 3 weeks to feel back to normal.

Whatever you do. Don't to any lifting-- nothing over 10lbs. Pulling a stitch will not be good.
Its a great marathon video game weekend.

If you have anti-clotting condition you better let the doctor know or you
will have grapefruit balls.

And I agree, don't look for sympathy. Especially if your wive had a C-section.

I have not been snipped, but most of my co-workers have. (all the ones over 40 except me have)  We are all over 40 and I am the only one who does not need assistance from the little blue pills.  I know all the doctors say that the procedure does nothing to the potential for the little feller to stand up and salute but........... I am the only one of my co-workers over 40 who has not been snipped and does not have a prescription for the blue pills.

I'll betcha a chocolate-chip cookiee that your buddies don't need Viagra.      Only a tiny portion of the male population does.     What those men need is some fresh pussy.

You, me, anybody our age - get in bed with something other than the toothless old hag you married 20 years ago, that has let herself go to shit, cut all her hair off, and who is teetering on the edge of becoming a late-life lesbian...  and the need for Viagra suddenly vanishes!

Good, hot pussy is better than drugs every time.   (And I sincerely believe that their wives need to be told that...)

Yep had it done.

First (and only ) time I had Valium.  It was awesome - but I was unable to drive my self home afterword.

The only tip I can give besides waiting another 2-3 days after you think you are ll well to lift something is see if the Dr. is going to bring in a student.

Imaging my surprise when the Dr told me Thursday was his teaching day can a resident assist? I said no problem - bring in the resident - we all learn somehow.

Said resident was a 5'9" blond knock out in her mid 20's.  When he did his side it went fast - when she did her side it took a little bit longer and they whole time I was just wishing it would end quickly.  It had nothing to do with the smoke rising from the cauterization ( that was an odd experience as well) but from the hottie doing the job adn the fear the little general would stand up and get get the ax.

Remember, there is about a 30 days supply of swimmers still left in the tubes after you get snipped...

You have to provide a "sample" to confirm your sterility.

Good luck with the procedure!

Had it done a few years ago and it was no big deal at all. The procedure was done on Friday and later that same day I was in the garage working on the motorcycle. By Sunday I was riding a little again and the following week was life as normal. I think I took a little Tylenol or Advil for the soreness, but I don't remember using any ice. I wouldn't describe the procedure or recovery as having been painful, just a little tender at the incision sites.

It was done with local anesthetic and from start to finish took perhaps 20 minutes. Two very small incisions on the front of the scrotum, perhaps 4mm long. Two titanium clips on each vas with the tube between clips removed, but the rest of the connective tissue was left alone, so I've never noticed any difference in the way they "ride."

Just a few visits to the doctor in the weeks after to be certain that I was shooting blanks and that was the end of it. Absolutely no worries about pregnancy from that point forward. Though, my wife and I both had to meet with the doctor ahead of time to emphasize that we were both onboard with this plan and that neither of us wanted children. I'm fairly certain that the doctor would have declined the procedure if I'd been single or if he hadn't been able to talk to my wife first.

I had  mine done last year after my girlfriend get preggers then misscarried. It dawned on me I would have been 70 with a kid graduatiing from High School. When I came out into the waiting room after the procedure Tami asked if I was OK, there was this really nervous looking young guy sitting there so I said "yeah, no problems" in a really high pitched squeeky voice..... the poor SOB almost fainted! we both laughed our ass's off over that one...

Yup, I'm in.  I did the peas thing too, but corn is just as good and tastes better to snack on.  Hmmm, I wonder if unpopped popping corn, frozen, might not work even better...

Took me about a month to really be completely healed and get myself back up to multi-mile runs and whatnot, but was up and about by Monday after my Friday snip.

One note:  I had mine done while enlisted.  A guy started, and an angry, vengeful harpy took over.  She asked if the 'students' could watch.  I was doped up and not in a position to argue anyway.  So then I had 4 more angry lesbians and a gay kid, arms folded, talking about how bad the chow hall was while Angry Dyke was tugging like all hell on my vas...  It's like getting kicked in the balls when they do that.  Bitch.

6 months after my youngest child was born. Pocedure was not bad - IV Valium is the shit - but it was almost an hour drive home afterwards and the boys got a mighty ache going on about 40 minutes into the trip. That was 22+ years ago. Having my left nut removed because it was cancerous was several orders of magnitude more painful. Check the boys regularly.
