Just one for me, a buyer for the Honda. I've had lots of wishers and dreamers, but no buyers yet.

It's not that I'm in any hurry to sell it, it's just that since I posted the thing, I'm getting a lot of 'if only"s and that gets old after a while.

I want Santa to bring me a ZX-14R.

And a new Connie 14 to take on a long trip next year.  If I can simply borrow one from Santa for a month or so, that'd be okay.

Oh, and a new Bonneville for putting around locally.

And a pastrami sandwich from Carnegie Deli in NYC.  Preferably fresh.

Yep had a set of them, fucking sucks when they break off from normal riding. Great light but real crapy mounting hardware.
I got less than 1500 miles before both were useless. Seller will replace them but I do not want a light on my bike that I can not count on, although I can count on them to be hanging at the end of the cable banging around fucking up everything they bang into.

Sorry just a bit angry about the LED lighting disappointed to say the least.

Curious, where did you have them mounted? I know in the ADVmonster thread and ADV there were a few folks that reported broken mounts - but many others that did not - and they are the same design as the 247diy ones. And yeah, the Krista mounts do look a lot better. I still can't justify that price though.

Curious, where did you have them mounted? I know in the ADVmonster thread and ADV there were a few folks that reported broken mounts - but many others that did not - and they are the same design as the 247diy ones. And yeah, the Krista mounts do look a lot better. I still can't justify that price though.

I had them mounted on the crash bars on my GSA.
Got them from ADVmonster and yes I am one of the ones who feels shafted (and vented it on ADV), Want better mounting hardware $40 even though seller admits they had a problem with the first design. YA sure I will give them more $$$ just to fix his crapy design.

When I got them one of the mounts had a crack (RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX) I had to take pics and pay to send back, the other looked like it was going to crack as well, SORRY NOT CRACKED YET YOU PAY NOW!. One light stopped working about 3 weeks of use, in right before the mount broke.

If you want cheap china crap ADVmonster is there to fill that need.  Thumbsdown

Sure Clearwater Krista lights are 4 times the price, but they are made in the USA (almost local to me) all parts can be serviced or repaired, are solid design, better mounting hardware and the designer stands behind his product. OH Ya they have really Really REALLY great focus pattern.

I hear ya - for me I just do not have enough spread to justify the price for the Krista's. If I did, I'd choose them in a heartbeat. I did not go through ADV monster, I got mine from 24x7diy - they are 3000Lm ones that ADVmonster does not have yet. From what I understand they are the same and ADVmonster get's theirs from 24x7 wholesale (the 2k lumen ones are their model 44). So far I'm impressed with the light output, seems very close to the Krista output just going off pics - hopefully will get a chance to do a side by side one of these days.

Hey question!?!
What motorcycle DVDs are worth buying, keep in mind I'm NOT a HD fan. But don't mind "classic" movies with HD...but I'm lucky for Movies to add to the list for the wife.

I hate Christmas - everything about it.
In an effort to get the Christmas Spirit here's my wish list.
1. Cardo Scala Rider G4 - if the thing works the way folks say.
2. Aerostich Fleece Pants - size 38 regular
3. A riding buddy who wants to take a last minute run to Big Bend or Southern Fl in Jan or Feb.

I don't have to have the first two or can get them for myself but the last isn't easy to find.
If I can't find anybody else into spur of the moment trips - I'll just do it.
