This is a multi-tag game

I'm going to post a list of 5 items/things that you need to photo "collect" with your bike and a "file photo prevention item". Each time a new list is posted it needs to include a new "file photo prevention item" such as placing your helmet near the front tire or a blue towel on the seat; you get the idea.

EDIT -  a date stamp from the day of the list posting or later will be acceptable for all lists in leu of a prevention item.

The "winner" is the first person to make a post with all 5 items in it. All photos must be in a single post. That means 5 different photos in one post unless you can capture multipule items in one shot

If you get bruced, post up but specify BRUCED in the posting.

The general guideline should be things that everyone has a reasonable chance of getting. For example; if you wanted to use a shoreline/beach, it should be a lake or ocean shoreline/beach; not just an ocean shoreline/beach ('m going to include this in the post as well).

Once a person "wins" he/she gets to post a new list of 5 items with a different "file photo prevention item"

Needless to say, the person who wins is excluded from participating in the challenge he/she puts up. Also, the list poster need only post the list, not pics of the items.

I will try to keep a current list of all the grab lists here in the first post to make it easier to see what has already been done.

OK, here is your first list.

1 - An airport control tower
2 - A barn with a painting or collection of old signage on it
3 - A national / state park visitors center
4 - A small, independant, non-franchise coffe shop with free WIFI - must include pic of free WIFI notice.
5 - A radio control flying field or RC race track. Sign needed if it is not obviously an Rc specific area.

Your file photo prevention item is - A ball cap on the tank or seat.

1.)  Some sort of OLD bridge with wood in it's construction
2.) Some sort of equestrian park
3.)  A picture outside a PAVED racetrack - please provide some sort of proof it is paved
4.) A privately owned hobby store that deals with R/C cars or planes or trains
5.) A railroad crossing without crossing arms or lights

The file photo prevention item is to put your riding gloves on your mirrors.

1 - Static display aircraft
2 - Monument to fire, police or military
3 - Irish pub
4 - A house that has been abandoned for some time and is in serious disrepair
5 - Locomotive - steam or diesel/electric - running or on display.

File photo prevention item - red shop rag. can be on the seat, tank or mirror.

In TN, it's near impossible to find a barn without "See Rock City" plastered on it.

Well, I couldn't let this sit undone for so long, so my Dad, a friend from work, and myself set off this morning about 8:45 to collect these 5 photags.  It was 23 degrees when we left, and 32 when we got home about 2 hours later.  The only tough picture was the small coffee shop with the sign...went past about 7 or 8 before we found one with the wireless sign...so here they are...

This is the small Ames airport...yes, the upstairs is the control "tower" area.


This is a sweet barn painting just outside Slater, Iowa...GO CYCLONES!  Its been there for at least 10 years...


This is Big Creek State Park, just north of Des Moines, Iowa.



This is the local coffee shop.  The first picture is the bike, then I zoomed in on the door so you could see the wireless sign.



The final picture is the R/C field...this was actually the first pic we found, and the closest to my house.

I guess you are correct, but I say let this one slide and I believe FirstV was probably told the upper area was the control area and it probably does hold ground control even if it does not serve ATC funtions,

I guess that depends on how you define "control tower"
Per Google:

A building at an airport from which movements of air and runway traffic are controlled.

Since that is the building from which they overview the aircraft and coordinate landings and takeoffs I figured it would pass...

Get out there and do soem tagging!  Started the same thing on ADV around the same time and it is up to list 19!

I have to say that it all lined up that this list could not have been any easier.  I could have easily done it in under 60 miles...but instead my father and I zig-zagged our way around to find them all.  I hope we can get this game a ROLLING!!!

In there interest of keeping the game going, and gathering some momentum, I changed the list to make it a little easier.

A boat greater than 20' on the water
A camping tent set up at a designated camping site (not your yard)
Any articulated vehicle
LARGE wind turbine
Drag Strip with starting tree

Oh yes...and the file prevention item is a stuffed animal on your seat
