I'd never seen one any farther west than New Mexico.   Headscratch

Looks like Phoenix, Albuquerque, Denver are our closest.

I think the closest one to me is in VA.

It's cool how they are at every exit on 95 S. Eat at one and you have an unlimited number of places to crap on the rest of your trip.

I should call one here - since the last I can't remember how many RTE's in the LD community have all been on one of the coasts.

Hmmm. I'll ponder that. It depends on what route you'd want to take to head west/southwest.

1200 miles for breakfast?  Sure.  Make it on a Sunday morning in March.  I'll pop a day of personal time in and come out.

I remember in 2006 about 7 or 8 of us went to eat at the local WH (in Austin, TX). All but two of us got sick, I was one of the two. Been there once, never again. Denny's or IHOP is much better. Probably the dumpster behind the Denny's or IHOP is better.

Justin had the best idea for the flag.

I sorta have the opposite reaction to seeing a WH, I cringe and keep going...  Crazy

There will be some group Waffle House RTE events during this Grand Tour. Might even have an 'eating' contest to add some WH flavour!  Wink
