Has anyone mounted a Penske 8983 on their FJR, and if so did you buy from GP Suspension in Oregon City, Oregon? I bought my shock through them and also bought their machined bracket for the resovoir. There were no mounting instructions in the box, so I'm not sure which side the bracket is meant to be mounted on.

Thanks for the link, but can someone post a picture of the remote resovoir mounting and line routing for the '06 and beyond FJR?

I have mine installed, but I think the line routing is incorrect.

OK... sorry to overwork this post, but I thought I'd post this link for those who might be interested. I finally found some pictures of a Penske 8983 install on a later model FJR:  http://www.fjrforum.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=112648

I'm not an expert on electronic communication methods, but I'm pretty sure GPS has a phone...? They're good guys there and would be happy to help you get it mounted for sure, being a paying customer and all.

I bought a Penske 8983 from GP for my Speed Triple.  They did an absolutely outstanding job tuning the shock to fit the bike.  I'd recommend them.

Bought mine from Traxxion Dynamics.  They usually have a big sale about this time of year.

GP Suspension did call me back based on a phone message I left. Dave was very helpful. Although he did describe the correct mounting of the resovoir to some degree, a picture was worth a thousand words, as they say. So, finding the post on another site with a couple images further cleared up the situation.

Shock mounted - bike waiting to come off the lift for a test ride. On the 950 S.E. in the mean time.
