Here's a cheerful little link so you can work out who was killed, using what means of transport, near you. Presumably "other" means horses and tractors and stuff.

That has to be the most sobering AND depressing sites I've ever seen!
It is fascinating looking at the carnage in city centers (even in front of the Tower of London), but then I decided to look at one of the most bucolic roads I've seen. My uncle used to live near Peebles in Scotland on a beautiful country lane. Sure enough, two bike fatalities just up the road from his driveway!
You 'street view' the spot and you can see the gentle curve and imagine the moment's inattention and the stone wall...
It must be particularly gruesome looking at that site if you knew the person to whom the 'spots' refer!!!
