I received some hand-me-down Widder items a few years ago before Widder went out of business.  I may need new controllers.   I have two of the electronic controllers (turn knob), but I'm not sure they are working right.

The widder.com website accepts no more orders as they are out of business.  The redirect to Iron Butt estore does not list any controllers except for one that is bundled with a battery kit and is the only Widder item there that is available ONLY to Iron Butt members (not a member).

Are there any additional sources available for Widder controllers?  Thanks!

You should just be able to whack off the old connector and use a "current" controller from Warm-N-Safe, Powerlet, or Gerbing.  Just add the appropriate coax connector.

Punny AND insightful, thanks CB.  Bigok  I will consider other manufacturers and see if I can find any premade adapter cords.

Also I was able to track down a Widder t-stat with BMW-end that I could use if I installed another powerlet outlet - http://www.derbycycles.com/cgi-bin/eShop/index.cgi?cart_id=520230.17941&pid=406&product=Widder_Products&count=1  Thumbsup

Update edit: my other controllers tested out ok with a tester, so I must've been having a blonde moment thinking they weren't turning the vest off.  That or I was accidentally turning the knob back on while riding.
