Honda recalls 10 years worth of Goldwings

Hmm, if I had kept my 2001 that would have been 3 recalls for it.  Overheating, frame cracking, now this.

Honda has partnered with La-Z-Boy for those owners needing a loaner in the meantime.

Not naming marques, or anything, but... Could be like some other MFGers that never bother owning up to some well-documented and dangerous issues. At least they're trying to make it right, and as I recall, they were all over the frame issue in a hurry. They may be making some "interesting" choices on which bikes to build and import, but they're still a top-notch customer service oriented company.  

Well... let's say you had a 2001 Wing.  And it had brake issues in, say, 2003.  But you had to wait 9 more years for the recall....

I wonder what it is that affects only some units and not others.
