I think the only regular German poster here is Ralf, who lives in Munich.

There may be Berliners on advrider or horizonsunlimited.com

Hope to meet him in Munchen the next time I'm over there.

We stayed in The Circus Hotel when we were in Berlin. Highly recommended. I mention it because their website has some useful information regarding longer stays:

I'll be looking for an apt as I plan on spending a few months there.
I've used this site to locate an apt in Rome a couple years ago and it worked great.
