Yeah, good luck with that....

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/589/11748/Motorcycle-Article/Beat-Rickey-Gadson--Win-a-Kawasaki-ZX-14.aspx

Quote
Four consumers will be given a chance to race nine-time AMA Drag Bike Champion Rickey Gadson to win a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, the world’s quickest production sportbike. Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. is asking potential contestants to submit an essay to www.kawasaki.com/zerotohero explaining why they should race Gadson in the “Zero to Hero” promotion, beginning Jan. 1, 2012.

Finalists will travel to Rickey Gadson’s Drag Racing School where they will receive two days of instruction from the nine-time champion, while also qualifying for their own NHRA Bracket license. Once qualified, the four will race against each other in elimination-style rounds and the quickest contestant will have a chance to race Gadson for a brand-new 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R sportbike.

p.s. don't bother entering Raj cuz these rules eliminate you:

....at least 18 years of age or older, and have a valid state-issued driver’s license with a valid motorcycle endorsement....

Rolleyes That's like racing Casey Stoner around Phillip Island on CBR1000's for the win.

Again, good luck with that.  Lol

It may well be set up that way.  Kawasaki may have it planned that Ricky intentionally loses the race for better PR.

It's gonna look real bad for Gadson when he has to take a dive against someone who ran the 1/4 on a Zx12 in 12.8 secs...

No way is Kawi going to allow a mechanical failure to happen.  That would look real bad.
So Ricky is gonna have to throw it.

Really, what I'm going to guess they're gonna do is let the dood running against Gadson get the bike anyway.

Or put Gadson on a 250.
