Just a few pics from my rainy day Skyline Drive ride with my friends Carl (sv) and Scott (road king).
We started out at Scott's place in Hagertown, MD.

Packed and ready to go.

Scott and Carl next to a Potomac canal park.

First stop in the park and it's raining and the sky is not looking to friendly. Who cares!

These two were taken as we gained some elevation. It got pretty foggy, but the rain was getting lighter and the sun was trying to poke through the clouds.

At that last stop, looking down the mountain.

After we gained a little more elevation either the skies cleared or we were just above the weather. Even in the rain this was a nice ride. The wet, foggy conditions helped to keep our speeds down while not making it boring and there was hardly anyone else on the road. Good stuff! We left the Skyline 'bout 2/3's of it's way south and stopped in some litle town and got dinner. Coming down from the mountains in the misty fog at twilight was kinda surreal and certainly not boring at all. Then we blasted back to Hagerstown via the slab. Sorry, not many pics at all as my only camera was my phone and was buried under a few waterproof layers and a pain to get out.
