  The red KLRs are the best color for being left with "original outdoor patina" Bomber. The sun turns them a nice magenta-pink color out West when they are left outside. You probably did not know this however as there is never SUN in Illinois...

lol -- the bike is already that tomato soup cut with milk color that owners of custom bikes envy ;-}

while performing a cursory inspection of the bike yesterday (as in, where did the PO move the fuse to, and why does the factory wiring harness just end this way within range of nothing at all?), I managed to scrape, knock and generally display about a bushel of central Illinois loam, grass and wheat stalks.

There's still another quarter hectare of stuff under the skid plate.
