I have a Rocky/Bill Mayer on mine, and love it.

I had his brother Rick build me a seat a few years ago. The seat itself was fine (once I got it), but his customer service/time it took to get it was deplorible. Never again.

I didn't see anyone mention the two underseat storage locations in the Sargent seats. I have a Sargent on my Gen I and it's great. The storage compartments are the icing on the cake; love 'em. One for insurance & reg'n doc's and the other for little tools & stuff.

I have been reading a good deal about similar problems (Getting cold feet here)

He did give me a rough 2 month turn around time already. (It is December  Crazy)

As I would not make any ride in's to these custom seat people, I think that the Sargent is looking better. I have found many good reviews.

I could not find any reviews on the FJR seat from Saddlemen unfortunatley. They make 3 different designs. This is their gel version (Not a fan of gel seats) but they also make a Tech foam version. I don't want to be the 1st purchase though.

Two MONTHS! Are you kiddin' me?

Rick pulled that same crap with me. It was supposed to be 4-6 weeks, turned out to be close to 12. I had to threaten legal action before he coughed up a seat.  Twofinger

His brother Rocky was the opposite extreme; his office girl called me the next day after it arrived in their shop to say it was on it's way back to me. They built it in one day.  Thumbsup
