Driver sentenced for trying to run motorcyclist off the road.

Who the heck am I gonna play tag with now that my buddy Bubba is locked up?

He'll do that little bit of time standing on his head. Heck back in 1979 I got sentenced to 2 years for stealing a door off of a 1969 Volkswagon Beetle. Stupid, ignorant, and just plain wrong and I deserved to be jailed for it.

The poster who mentioned that the true punishment is the felony conviction hit the nail on the head.  My bit of wanton stupidity when I was 18 years old has slammed many a door closed. No guns,  no leaving the country, no public office, no working for county or state level government, no security clearance, and no ability to vote.  30+ years is a long punishment for a $213.00 door.

Alas, under current law you can't be reenfranchised in Virginia (at least not without intervention from the Governor).
