The map window of my Joe Rocket Multi Tank bag was ripped when I crashed a couple of months ago.
Here's a photo of the damage:

Anyone know how or where to repair something like this ?

Thanks;

I had one crack like that years ago.  I used clear packing tape, which worked for a bit but turned yellow after a while.

It might be time for a new bag.

I think I may have just found an answer:

I had the same thing happen to my Joe Rocket Tank bag. What I did is find a local upholstery shop and have them remove the old clear plastic and re sew in a new marine grade plastic in its place. Bag is as good as new. cant even tell anything happened and only cost me like 15.00 to repair.

that was gonna be my suggestion.  a local upholstery shop with some replacement vinyl.  places that do boats and outdoor items are most likely to have the uv resistant clear stuff.

I'd use clear plastic packing tape on both sides.
Then when that wears/yellows out, I'd figure it's time for a new bag; few yrs in future...

Put your maps in a large Zip Lock bag.  Keeps the maps in good condition longer too... and my map window is still in good condition.

You can get new tank bags for not a lot of $$

Don't know what an upholstery shop would charge for repair but I'd spend maybe a little more and upgrade.

I bet they'd fix that for probably 10 bucks  Bigok  Can't find decent new tankbags for that money.

You have no idea how true that is in this case.
I've owned a few tank bags in my time.
And this is the best one I've owned.

It's the Joe Rocket Multi Tank Bag.
It a magnetic bag, has a built in, attached rain cover that stores in it's own hidden compartment,
built In carry handles, shoulder straps & back pack straps, and has D-rings so it can also be mounted via straps.
And it is f'n huge: 18"L x 11"W x 15"H
I think it's even bigger than Cortech's Tribag.

That's why I want to repair it.

Too bad Joe Rocket no longer makes it.  Sad
