Are Gerbing Hybrid LT jackets good for summer? Or what is?

Ok. Courtech jacket is a few years old, getting a little grungy, and doesn't fit me quite right anymore (it was a little big to begin with, but now I've trimmed even more so it's kinda sagging now).
Ready for an heated upgrade since I ride year-round now, but basically want the "perfect" jacket. Meaning, I want a jacket that WITHOUT the heated liner is good enough for summer, and the heated liner snaps or zips in for winter riding so it stays with the jacket for winter/colder weather riding. Also, whole package (liner and/or jacket) should be very water-resistant.
If there's a matching pants set, it's a bonus, but the jacket and liner are what I'm really interested in. Just most things I find are liners that are separate to the jackets so I don't think they snap/zip in to anything, or the jackets that have integrated heated all seem to be 'winter only' jackets.
The gerbing hybrid LT looks like it could fit the bill, but I don't know how good it is for summer riding. And I'm wondering if the courtech/tourmaster brand of heated liners zip into their jackets or if they're made to be only as separate liners.
Alexi
PS - High-viz is a plus, but I have plenty of vests if it can't be done.

Coming from someone who only wears leather.....
My experience with stock jacket liners is that they all basically suck. My Gerbings is a better liner than any stock jacket liner even when it's not plugged in. Of course it doesn't attach to the jacket, but to me that's a plus. It's just another layer. Knowing that going in it's easy to deal with i.e. no snaps or zippers to hassle with. A long sleeve T or silk polar weight underneath & I'm good to go down to temps where traction becomes an issue. Below that I'm taking the truck. The Gerbings is comfy up into the mid '70s then it has to come off. This is all with a perforated leather jacket on a bike with minimal wind protection.
I don't ride in the rain much, but when I do a simple rain suit works for me. They usually last a couple seasons before they start leaking.
