FF helmet recommendation?

I need to replace my HJC which is will hit 5 years in 2012.  Since the DC motorcycle show is in a few weeks, I thought I would pick one up there after i try it on.  However, I would like suggestions.

This FF helmet would primarily be used when I take the S1000RR to the track, though also other times while riding it on the street.  Since I am in the geezer age range, my neck is not too flexible; hence, I need one with a large field of view.  I wear glasses while riding, so it needs to work with those.  Light weight would be helpful.

I'm a shoei fan now, but just because they fit my head.  nice big opening for visibility

I think Scorpion makes a great helmet for the money, but they just don't fit my head like a shoei

DR - I am not sure if  a modular is permissible on the track - but I love mine.

If I were on a DINK budget Id go w/ the Carberg, as I am at the other end - I have the Nolan which is heavy and although it is my second and I like it well enough - it is not love.

No modular.

A mix is OK.  My approach is already confusing with a Prius hauling a track-prepped bike!

I loved the previous Arai Quantum E/F series but since they changed their models find that it no longer fits as well.  So after 12+ years in Arai I am now wearing a Scorpion Exo-700 in high vis.  It fits well and is nicely finished for the price - no fog visor, fully removeable helmet liner.  And price may be critical coming from the HJC world.  You can get sticker shock looking at Arai and Shoeis.

I wear glasses too and haven't had any problems in past with any of my full face helmets.

If you go to the motorcycle show, you'll likely run into creepy measuring tape Arai guy.  He'll woo you with tales of ill fitting helmets and cheekpads etc.  It is indeed an education.  Just be careful not to be sold on comfort by trying on a helmet w/ no cheekpads in it.  Sure it fits the top of your head and is very comfortable.  Duh.

BTW, what size?  I have a garage full of helmets you could try on.    I have an Arai Quantum, a couple Scorpion EXO700s (one of which I'll sell you real cheap), a GMAX that has become my primary helmet and an old Shoe RF which is pretty much null and void of relevance.  But I also have a pretty big bean so my stuff is mostly XL.  

Check out the Sharks.  They impressed me.

I've got the HJC FS-15 Carbon Fiber helmet.  Roomy, can wear my glasses under it, replaceable cheek pads for customizing the fit, good ventilation, not as much noise as you'd expect, and pretty light.  The visor area is large and has a decent sightline for peripheral vision, and the visors swap out in like 5 seconds.  I like it. I've always been a Shoei man until this helmet, so would fully recommend any of the Shoei upper end offerings as well.  I think both HJC and Shoei are designed for more oblong heads, but your mileage may vary.

You gotta pay for lightness!  The Shoei X-12 or Arai Corsair are where it's at, but they also come with the biggest price tags (~$700).  If you're going to the show just get whatever fits the best, apparently most people fall into either the Shoei or Arai shaped noggins.

You may still be able to find a leftover X-11 somewhere for a decent deal but consider the 5 year deal.  I got my X-11 for less than $380 shipped about two years ago and have been spoiled with the lightness and aerodynamics.  Beyond the fogging issues when it's below 75 degrees this is by far the nicest helmet I've ever owned.

I went with the Arai RX-Q.  Fits great, good features.  

You always can learn new things.  After being measured by two different reps at two different booths, I found out I have a medium head.

Shoei Qwest. Best helmet I've ever had. Quiet, comfortable, light. Good to go.
