Really on the fence about this one. Haven't been since 2005 or maybe 2006 in Seattle, and from what I've heard it's changed a great deal, that is, it is much smaller. The plus is it's 5 minutes from my work, 30 mins from home, right off metro so no parking hassle, and I get to sit on most bikes I'm interested in. The minus is...is it really worth $40-50 to take the family there? And BMW is not attending the DC show. I guess if I can't get up for it when it's so easy to go, there's my answer. Anyone else going? And what is the Guzzi presence like in the "Wet Dreams Pavilion"?

I went a last year and will put it this way; if you have to pay to go, don't bother.

Over the last 25 years or so I've been to the show
in NYC, Philly, DC, St Louis and Cleveland.
I've always felt Cleveland was the best.

Re DC: It used to be tons bigger, with demo
rides, clothing out the wazoo, the whole shebang.
Now...well let's just say it's like the day AFTER
Christmas.

Looks like will be going to the show on Saturday with the wife and a coworker.
At the least we get a good lunch at Capitol City Brewing as always.

I am most likely going to go, just for something to do with friends. Went the last 4 years, and it seemed dumbed down every year, in step with the down turn of the economy. The quality of the gear available seems to get cheaper every year. One good thing, ability to try on a LOT of different helmet brands.

Anyone know if those Tiez or whatever guys are going to be there? I would like to see some of their stuff in person. Hate the name, though.

Did anyone grab the card from the twisted throttle booth with their promo code on it? Should be good for 10% off and free shipping. I got the one in Dallas but didn't know how to redeem it but have since learned that you need to call in and place your order over the phone which I am ready to do.

Thanks.
