Scott and I are headed south in February.  We're loading two bikes in my truck, heading out on Wednesday, February 22 after work and driving to Birmingham, AL.  We'll stop for the night just south of Lexington, KY at the Econolodge ($40 for the night/Athens/Boonesboro exit), then finish up the drive the next morning.  I have booked a room at the Super 8 ($59 night) in Moody, AL for three nights, departing on Sunday afternoon and heading back north, arriving home on Monday.  On the list of things to do - Barber Motorsports Park and some good ole southern BBQ.

Anyone interested in joining us now have the details and are more than welcome to get south and knock some winter rust off.  I can only fit two in my F-150, so how you get there is up to you.  My vacation time was approved yesterday.   Twofinger

Average daytime highs are ~60 with lows about 40.

Leaving after work, Dave.  That means at least 4 before I get moving.  I figure 6 hours with a dinner stop should be all I can handle after getting up at 4 AM.   Crazy

I'm going in March for Indy/Rolex and in June for AMA Superbikes. Reservation made and paid for courtesy of my boss's insatiable desire to see me on the road 365 days a year. This year I AM taking vacation.
