I recently purchased one of these jackets and I like it except for shoulder armor...The armor is hard and uncomfortable on my shoulder blades...is there another option for shoulder armor 4 this jacket....

thanks

Any of the Darien armor options fit the Falstaff as well and they do have a "soft" armor without the hard shell (TF2)

I have the TF5/SAS-TEC stuff in my Darien, it's less bulky but you may find it feels harder though the pads are smaller in area.

I thought the darien stuff as Velcro into place instead of pockets will it still work???  Like the knee pads in my darien pants

Yeah, looks like the SAS-TEC stuff won't fit if the Falstaff has sewn in pockets as it requires different velcro-in pockets but all Aerostich TF armor is pretty much the same. The Darien jacket takes the same stuff as the Roadcrafter but only the medium sized pads. I'm guessing the Falstaff also takes the medium pads but you may want to double check with Aerostich.
