That's the whole state. I've not seen one with counties. That would be mind numbing to keep track of.

This one was county by county.  Filling it in County by county is pretty neat.  Makes you see how little of the state you have actually ridden through when you fill in a state on the map after passing through 3 counties.
I started using it after i colored in Alabama on my state map after only going through 2 counties.
Also kind of gives you a lot of day trip ideas just to color in a county.

Whois says that the domain has expired so I'm afraid whoever was running it allowed it to expire.

I haven't seen what the site you refer to looks like. I only saw a few images from it while googleling.
I found this link: http://www.mob-rule.com/counties/index.html

Hope it helps.

i have one of those large rand mcnally atlas' and i use a highlighter to trace all the roads ive ridden.  i think its more accurate then just relying on counties and helps me easily spot new roads to ride.  s.c. and the southeast is pretty much pink (its the only other color i had on hand besides yellow, which wouldnt show up well).  the rest of the country looks like veins zig zagging across the continent.

Whenever I had a day free I would find a un-colored in county and then google something that was in the county worth seeing.

I clicked on all the links to '"visited counties" maps and seemed to keep running into the same deadend as in the 7th post here.  I too would like to have at least the county map for Texas.  The one in my signature on another site is one that I copied from the web and then had to solidify about 2/3 of the boundaries in order to fill them easily with a photo software program.
