Well today I made the purchase of a lifetime. I've had triumphs in the garage for quite some time but I've been pining for a ST ride with a little get up and go. So after watching and waiting for the right K1300S to appear, it did today. At my local store they put a 2011 with all the options with 11 miles on it on the web for $5k below list.

I left a sizable deposit today and will pick it up next week. They were closing at 2pm today so there wasn't time to get all the insurance title and tag work done. No worries, I'm up to my eyeballs with work anyway.

I know that: NeedPics applies here, I just forgot to take a picture. It's red. I'll post one when it's home.

Congrats!  Personally, the Sprint has enough power for my sport-touring needs, but the K1300S should be a sweet ride all the same!

That's a big saving on list price!!! I would love to have a K1300S but my knees and wrists say no, unfortunately.

I found the position to be almost identical to the Sprint so things should be OK.

Getting bags that aren't hideous is the current challenge....

I went from a 995 Sprint ST to a K1200S in 2006 and bought another one in 2008, but sadly, even with helibars and a footrest lowering kit, my arthritic knee and wrists still objected, so I had to sell it. Some aspects of getting old really do suck Bigsmile
