55 degrees. Wow.
25 years riding, never rode on New Years Day before. Unfortunately, 2/3rds of my bikes are winterized (Which means stabil in the gas, batteries removed.)
Thankfully, bike #3 was ready to go. I'll let you guess which bike that is.
I guess some folks got new quads for Christmas. Making tire tracks on my desert.
straight down.

This was an odd looking plant. It was bright green and stood out like a sore thumb, or bright green plant in an otherwise dead landscape.
found some old marbly asphalt.
Happy New Year bitches.

Yes it was pretty nice weather for my New Years day ride, too. That is, until the rain showers hit me. C'est la vie! Happy new year, Region 6.

Looks like a lonely, remote Holly bush to me. Appropriate for the holidays.

I've gotten so good I don't crash anymore.
I did get some air on this ride but didn't mention it. Those Christmas quad dudes needed to be taught a lesson.

I rode as well:
Me too....
Got a late start so I never had a chance of catching the Hot Dog crew...so I bounced around the south shore, skirting Boston Harbor from Quincy south to Duxbury...then headed home for some home made chili...just in time to watch the Pats hang 49 unanswered points on the Bills to close out the regular season.

I got caught in the rain around Lancaster. Up and back. It was fun. Cold, but fun.
Too bad Philly is in-between. It was sunny & (relatively) warm around here. I was comfortable out mid-afternoon without heated gear or a jacket liner.
