Registration is now open, and this year Rick is limiting the rally to 75 entries.  I'm in - who else?  http://www.masondixon20-20.org/

Do you have to have an IBA number to do this rally? I signed up over the weekend and paid my fee, but no real confirmation yet. I'm waiting on a confirmation before I go booking a hotel room for the weekend (or at least Friday night and Sunday night).

No, you don't need one. You should be able to do that kind of mileage, though.

The first MD 20-20 I ran was where I got my IBA number. Rallybastard Rick will usually help confirm your ride if you ask.

Sweet! I think I'm gonna book a room at the Motel 6 across the street; rooms are nearly $30 cheaper, and still available for that weekend.

The rallymaster is obviously not a web designer; I can't find any contact info on the site except for sponsoring the event. I just had a medical procedure done that may prevent me from riding long distance for a while (kidney-related). The registration money is going for charity, so I'm not worried about a refund, but since spots are limited, I wanted to let the rally master know that I won't be attending.

Yeah, it's not so much the vibration from the bike, as it is holding my bladder for an extra hour or so at a time. I can still do long-distance riding, but I shouldn't hold my urine any longer than I have to. Finding the next gas station is fine, but pushing on another 180 miles because I just fueled-up and don't want to get stop again just yet is another matter.

If I don't have any other plans by then, I might ride down that Sunday and see if I can help out in any way, and stick around for dinner.
