My first coffee meet back and you all pick there? I am even in town. I am unenthused. But I might not be A list either.

It is the lurkers choice. You'll have to take it up with him.

It's not the Lurkers name on this thread. You could claim aliens made you do it, but you're still the one who sat down and typed.

does the lurker have a stake in this joint? I mean, it's nice and all, but surely there are more unusual choices . . . . .

What ever place i post is not going to please every one. Sorry. It seems what ever place i post turns into controversy. If i called it for down here i bet no one would show because it was to far and in Illinois. Boo Hoo

Jim wanted to have coffee and he figured it was the most centrally located place for every one but i guess he was wrong.

It was his decision not mine. I am just the mesanger. If people don't like the choice then you can do what ever you want. This isn't mandatory or anything.

Jim and I will be there sunday. If any one else wants to show feel free. It's a free country.

the Illuminati determines how much "free" we are allowed to feel.

Soon, when the Ark of the Covenant completes the circle and again resides in Iraq, the Annunaki will return to rule mankind.

I will attend, provided Ed brings his Electrosport stators that failed.

Matt and I want to plan one or more trackdays for 2012.  I will bring the schedules for BFR and STT in case any others in attendance want to plan with us.

FZ1Matt, Sparky, RocketmanBill, and I are likely to attend a Motovid.com trackday at Blackhawk Farms Raceway on Wed. May 9th.

Matt and I may also go on Wed. June 13th for the same deal at the same track.

Anyone is welcome to sign up for these days, and encouraged to do so, if the thought of improving your riding technique in a track environment interests you.

I am not organizing an ST.N trackday, to be clear.  I have not the time, knowledge, or the patience to go through all that is required for that.

Go to http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/?page_id=28 for info.  The more who attend, the merrier!  If you have questions regarding trackdays, there are many knowledgeable Region 4 folks who can answer your questions, as well as the BFR website.  If there is lots of interest in these BFR dates, I will start a new thread for it.

This was a good, well attended meet.  I was hoping to see Capt. Anonymous, but one cannot have everything.

Were photos taken (other than Matt's suggestive dance on the snowbank)??

My buddy went to a Motovid track day that allowed 'vintage' bikes to have a session in addition to Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.  In his case, Vintage meant 'leaking oil' and him and a few others ended up in the hospital.  Watch out for those 'vintage' days and if I can make any of those particular days, I will!
