Not true as being located on Vancouver Island will cost him a King's ransom to get to the show. "Ferry, Hotel, etc".

The M/C won't cost ya anywhere near as much on the ferry, and they go to the head of the line NO MATTER WHAT, no reservation required. And you then get free parking at the show, and you could do some guerilla camping in Stanley Park!

Welp, I broke down and took a vacation day, because I couldn't con anyone into trading shifts with me.
So I'll be there Saturday. Look for me with the ST.n hat.

Enjoyed the show, didn't see any ST.netters, oh well.
Loved the new Panigale, but the rear cylinder exhaust hoop looked a little wierd.
Yeah, I know, equal length for scavenging, etc.
The 961 commando was stunning, there were a few neat specials there too.
I took some pics which I will upload ASAP, unf some of them didn't turn out so good, cheap P&S Kodak.

Noticed it was lacking much content compared to last year!
I sat on and sort of liked that K1600, and also liked the Super Tenere, but then I noticed that Yamaha brought back the Cobalt Blue on the FJR1300 again, so hell, I am up to date.
That new Honda NC700XA looked to be pretty cool also.

I went to the show with my wife and one of my kids.
I have to say; there was a very disappointing absence of female models!
I'm trying to get my son hooked on bikes, and at 14, some pretty girls would have sealed the deal!
I know they want to make it a family event, but come on!

No love for the 1199 ? Looks lovely in the pics? I like the snout a whole bunch. Angry, aloof and a bit alien.

I would definetly hit that!
However, just like a Ducati Umbrella girl, I would last about 30 seconds until my back went out.
