  And ,oh yes you need to put a petcock kit in it before you relive this whole scenario again in the spring. It did not FIX ITSELF. Thanks ETHANOL fuel mix!

I have a list of items that need fixing, and the petcock is on it.  Right now it's empty and not on the bike.

  Clay this is a rather common problem on vacuum op petcocks on Suzukis. I actually removed the vac/op from my DRZ400 and replaced it with a manual op one from a Yamaha Raptor 660. As I remember you cannot do this on the Bandits though or even get to them very well. Looks like you just have to replace the diaphragm every 5 yrs or so as that seems to be about max service life on one. Another bummer about ethanol additives in gas.    Jeff.
