A rare chance will occur this morning to get out on dry (although slightly salty) roads for a ride in the month of January in WI.

If some of you care to join me for a 30-45 min. ride to Black Canyon Coffee in Wales, meet at the following location at 9 AM:

Well, the roads were not dry this morning.  It was 25 degrees, and some wet pavement caused me twice to spin my rear tire.  WOKE ME UP!

As Ben would say, "all my friends joined me" for my ride this AM.  I took my maiden voyage on the recently opened WI hwy. 83 from Mukwonago to Genessee.  Four lanes with roundabouts, and a speed limit of 55!  Once I spun the rear, I decided to get to the coffee shop directly, so no great ride was missed.

Sounds like about all you couldv'e done- I got out for about thirty miles today.  Spun out the front once and called it a day.  There's just too much ice in the shaded parts of the road.

When in doubt, throw a party.  Even if nobody shows up, you'll have a fridge full of beer and your house has never been cleaner.
