I am looking at possibly picking up a Tiger 800 (non-XC).  The local (Tucson) dealer is not known for doing much dealing. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on dealers in the Southwest that might be worth my time checking with on pricing.  I am hoping to find a 2011 demo model.  There are a couple here locally but I don't think they are at the best price.  Thanks

The ones that I know about are a bit further from you are Lone Star BMW/Triumph in Austin, The Euro Shop (Ducati/Triumph/Victory) in Waco, Performance Triumph/Suzuki in Oklahoma City, Eurosport Cycle (Aprilia/Ducati/Moto Guzzi/Triumph) in Fort Worth, BMW/Triumph of Dallas in Plano and Foothills BMW/Triumph here in Denver. Lone Star is the one that I have dealt with the most and have known the Performance guys since they were a small shop rebuilding wrecked bikes. I have known some who have bought from the shop in Waco and Fort Worth and I know a guy at the dealer in Plano who used to work at Lone Star. They all come pretty highly recommended by people that I know.

I ended up getting my Tiger today and I bought it from the local shop though I did call PJ's.  They didn't have any demos or deals that could match the one I got but I talked with PJ for a while and I think you're lucky if that is your local shop.  Seemed like a good guy to deal with.

Congrats and post pics, swimmer!  Did you trade in your Versys on it?

Yes, they gave me  as much for my versys as I could have gotten selling in privately, plus I have all my extras to sell off.  Going from two bikes (07 CBR600RR) to one, the Tiger.  Combining what I got from both bikes I didn't have to come up with too much cash. It was a demo from Triumph but I get a fresh two year warranty.  The versys was a very good motorcycle for me.  Zero problems.

A bit late to the party, but PJs in Albuquerque is definitely my choice in the Southwest.
