Doug, that map is old. Oprah is no longer in Chicago.

I do agree with Alaska with beer. (Wisconsin)

I see you come from the land of corn.   Bigsmile

Garry and maddjack come from Assholistan.   Lol

I have a funny story about Assholistan.  I used to work for Huntington Banks which is based out of Columbus, OH.  Everyday I spoke with someone from corporate, I had to hear a different WV joke.  It got old, especially since most were actually mean-spirited and not tongue in cheek.  Ask anyone from Columbus and they'll be glad to tell you they live in the epicenter of the entire f'n world.

Anyhow... one day I had enough of the WV jokes so I replied to a guy from Columbus, "Do you know what separates a hillbilly from an asshole?"  He paused and said, "no, what?"  I replied, "The Ohio River."   Twofinger

After having lived in WV for 5 yrs. I was under the impression that there were only 4 good things that came out of WV...

1) Interstate 81
2) Route 9
3) Route 50
4) Route 522

Or so I'm told...   Bigsmile

That's what they want everyone from outside of WV to think so they don't want to go back.
The ( motorcycling ) roads of WV are one of this country's best kept secrets.
Thanks to this forum I now know better. Thanks guys.

Let's set it clear.  I have nothing against PA (eastern, central, or western).  I have friends and have visited all areas.  My good friend is a surgeon and he moved to Altoona after college.  Altoona is his hometown.  All I'm saying is you can't toss stones when you live in a glass house.   Bigsmile

I could have replied... The best thing coming out of Altoona is Sheetz!   Lol

I've lived in in southeast/central Pa for a while and yep it's Assholeistan central in these parts.  Whenever I have customers that are new to the area they almost always comment about how unfriendly and standoffish the locals are. Technically I am a southerner by birth and therefore don't qualify as a local, y'all.   Lol
