Painted luggage finally done........ it took the shop two extra week but it was well worth it.  I really didn't think it was going to turn out looking this good. IMHO. Oh!!! I added Hi reflective graphics that really shines at night and can be sent during the day? I was/might carry the design to the side panel and then to the luggage to finish it off. Or leave it as is.
Any thoughts?

I did the same thing to my '93, loved the look.  This brings back a lot of memories!

I highly recommend getting the turn signal/brake light kit for the topcase. Several people have remarked to me how much it increases visibility from the rear.

Thanks that is on my list, right now I do have the kit installed from Twisted Throttle along with the back-off modulator. that is tied in.

Ron,

That was a Gustaffson windshield.  You can find them online.  They do not come pre drilled, so you do have to do that, but what a good product and it fits like it should when you do it yourself!  Some of the other old connie shield vendors would have shield hanging over the lip at the bottom of the shield where it meets the upper fairing, I didn't like it.  That short shield was pretty darn protective too with that big bubble shape.  I highly recommend, just have at least one more set of hands to help with the install.  The graphics don't do much for me, but the luggage looks good. Pretty good color match. Bigok

Man I hate to highjack my own thread, but I assume that the wind screen you have was a G-force 14 inch? Man but I like the one you have.......

Here is a picture of my bike with my summer shield on it. It's just a stock screen cut down ti 14 inches with a dremel.

You can find several different shots of the shield in this album:

And then browse through the others to find some more changes to the old '93 that I had done.  I wish now I knew where it was...
