well my '06 turned 50 on my way home from work Dec 30 2011. So I had to pull over a capture the moment. She is one of the most reliable modes of transportation that I've ever had. Since Memorial Day of 2010, I've put 32,XXX miles on her and she has never left me stranded. Other than oil changed and new shoes, the OEM battery and regular look over she really hasn't had any real issue.  All the wrenching I've done on her was/is by choice not so much a necessity. This bike in general is really a great machine. Just wanted to share.
 Inlove

It's just as reliable as any Honda...

I am getting close to the 50,000 mark with my 08 Concours 14.  I already put on 650 miles in the month of January.  Not bad, considering that I live in Michigan. Cold riding...bring it on.

Lucky!  I've put close to 40k on my 250s, but due to idiot neighbors and parking lots it's been more than one of them.  Twofinger

Yep. Old Connie's a great bike. Headed for 35K trouble free miles on my '05 that I bought in '08 with less than 1,000 miles on her.

When I'm on it everyday sometimes I yearn for something more performance-oriented.

When I don't ride for a couple days then get back on it, I remember how much I really love the bike.

She excels at nothing in particular, but does everything that I need it to very well.  Thumbsup

Your oil pressure light is on, you'd better have that checked.   Twofinger

My bike is 31 years old.  We are just shy of the 50,000 mile mark.  Guess it takes longer to rack up miles when you only get about 4 months of good riding weather.

Looks like your low on gas, too.

Congrats on 50K and hope the second 50K is as fun and trouble-free as the first.
