Do you have the right stuff?? This is the longest running motorcycle event in the USA. This
is not a race, but a timed event with the maximum schedule of 30 mph. Total distance will
be 120 miles with a mid point lay-over to refresh yourself and socialize with fellow
contestants. Trophies will be awarded to both expert and novice riders. There will also be
a team trophy for AMA clubs with 3 entries. All qualified finishers will receive a coveted
Crotona Midnight Run Medallion. Motorcycles must have legal mufflers. Computers &
GPS's are not permitted. You don't have to be a superman/superwoman to ride this event.

This is an AMA District 34 point event.

It starts at midnight with bikes leaving at one minute intervals and ends between 5-7am. There is a two hour layover (at around 1-3am) at the halfway point. Each leg is about 60 miles long with multiple check points, but you don't know where you're going until you register at 11pm on the nigh of the ride.

Kicks off at midnight...  2 hour mid-ride lay over... usually wraps up at 6am.

I'm out. Damaged my front wheel where the speedometer unit meets the hub. Called up L.I. Kawasaki. A new hub and relacing the rim comes out to about $700. Thats going to wait for a bit....

I'm out, too!!  An oil line sprung a leak today.  I'm really glad it was pointed out to me before it had a chance to coat my back tire while riding.

The hot line said there was a good turnout for this year's run.  The Ramapo puts on the best runs.  I HATE that I missed it.  I WILL make it next year.
