Yes, yes. I'm planning way ahead for this, but it's an important event!

Andrew (of San Fransciso tech-savvy fame) is going to be in town that weekend, prepping and departing on his newly purchased 2008 KLR (Dan's bike). We'll do any necessary store-runs that morning, but will be spending the afternoon in the yard/garage, making sure that both Andrew and the bike are ready for the trip.

So come on over! Andrew's excited to meet some of you East Coasters and I'll be eager to light up the grill. Please RSVP some time during the week before. I realize that this is a holiday weekend, but we hope to see as many of you as we can.

Oh, and the garage is available for everyone's use, not just Andrew's  Bigok

How about Midwesterners who feel like stretching their legs?  Are they welcome too?   Wink. I'll PM for an address as it gets closer.

Winner!   Lol

If I'm in R6, I'm in!  Who hoo...what can we bring?  Road Kill?  Some of Clay's cat?

I'd ask about "camping"...but having visited the Den de Dante's Dame, I am aware that tent space is somewhat constrained...

Got any rides planned?  I'd love a tour of the Delaware Gap area...at something more of a "flower-sniffing" pace as opposed to "corner strafing..."

Excellent  Bigok  No menu planned as-of-yet, so please leave the road kill and kittys at home  Smile

I'd ask about "camping"...but having visited the Den de Dante's Dame, I am aware that tent space is somewhat constrained...

There's always room in the yard! We'll have our beehive up by then, but there is still room for a couple of tents near the garden. Not to mention the guest bedroom and the futon in the basement  Cool

I don't have anything planned, but I can rig up something for an "incoming route" from High Point to my house. Maybe on Sunday we can take a "shake down" run for Andrew and show the out-of-towners some more remote sights (rofl <- "remote" in NNJ)  However, if anyone else there has an suggestions for a ride on Saturday, please post up.

I'm thinking that the grill will be lit around 4 and flesh charred shortly thereafter....

Anyone interested in a day ride from Johnney's Pilot to Hawk's Nest with Mrs. DD's as a waypoint?  It would have to be a relatively short stop, maybe 30 minutes to an hour, and a good ride.

btw, we have the tire changer (a little worse for wear due to some ham-fisted "THIS WILL WORK!" stuff), but we now also have a quality balancer as well  Thumbsup
